EMRS PGT Syllabus and Exam Pattern 2025
There are a total 1460 vacancies for the post of postgraduate teacher- PGT in all the schools of EMRS under the latest recruitment drive of 2025. The exam pattern help you to understand how much portion you should cover for this examination and after that will help you to boost your revision.
The department is conducting a total of three tiers in this examination including Tier 1, 2 & 3. The first two phases of the recruitment are written tests including the Tier 1 for Purely objective answer type and tier 2 for a combination of objective as well as descriptive. So candidates will need to qualify both tests to sit in the interview round.
Candidates will get Total 2 hours 30 minutes to complete the examination which will include a total 120. The last 20 questions are not calculated in the merit list but are of qualifying nature where candidates will need to achieve more than 40 in this section.
EMRS PGT Exam Marking Scheme
Candidates will be awarded one mark for every correct answer in this examination however the ⅓ marks will be deducted for each incorrect answer. Teaching attitude will include questions from teaching nature, characteristics of learners, objective and basic requirements in teaching, learners characteristics, factors affecting teaching learning procedure, Teaching ads and evolution system, methodology of teaching, maxims teaching.
Domain Specific
The domain specific subject will include all the details provided in national education policy 2020, which will include New division of schooling years, new evolution methods, fln, Nipun Bharat program and all other provisions. Apart from this portions from Activity based and exponential learning will also be included in this test.
Language Specific
The language specific section is the last section of tier 1 examination of EMRS PGT recruitment which will not calculate marks of candidate in the merit list but will help them to be evaluated in the Evaluation procedure as only candidates who achieve more than the qualifying marks of 40% in this section will get benefit.
