SSC CPO 2026 Notification PDF: Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will release the SSC CPO 2026 notification on 31st May 2026 announcing vacancies for the posts of Sub-Inspector (Executive) – (Male/Female) in Delhi Police and Sub-Inspector in Central Armed Police Forces. SSC conducts SSC CPO Exam 2026 to recruit candidates for the post of Sub-Inspector in Delhi Police and Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs). SSC CPO 2026 Exam will be conducted in four stages – Paper I, Physical Standard Test (PST) or Physical Endurance Test (PET), Paper II, and Detailed Medical Examination (DME). Delhi Police SI, CAPF SI Vacancy 2026 Application Fee
The fee of Rs 100 should be paid by the candidates to complete the application process. However, this reward is not applicable to qualifying women candidates, members of Scheduled Tribes, SC, OBC candidates, or ex -servicemen. The fee submission date is 17 October. How to Apply for SSC CPO 2026?
The given procedures should be followed so that the SSC CPO 2026 Exam can be successfully registered:
- Go to thessc.gov.in official website, and on the official page, click on the “apply” option. In the SSC CPO 2026 application window, select new registration.

- Next, choose the “register” button. Candidates will first have to register by providing basic information like their name, parents’ name, and date of birth, email address and mobile number. To submit your online registration form, click on submit button.
- Before submitting the form, candidates are recommended to re-examine their information. Each applicant will be given a registration ID.

- To end the registration process, candidates have to enter their date, password, and registration ID.
- Candidates will need to upload their photos and signatures as per the requirements specified by SSC next time.
- To eliminate Part II of the application, enter your password and registration ID.

- Candidates will have to preview a full application form after completing it to check any error. Once you see the entire online SSC CPO application form, click on the final submit option.
- To successfully submit your form, you have to pay the relevant application fee. Only online payment methods such as net-banking, credit/debit cards, BHIM, UPI, etc., are accepted for application fees. It is recommended that the candidates download and print their SSC CPO 2026 applications copies.

The SSC CPO 2026 recruitment campaign in the unreserved (UR) category is the highest inauguration, with 1,170 total post -1,082 for male candidates and 88 for female candidates. Other backward classes (OBC) categories have 766 openings, including 709 for men and 57 for women.
In addition, 434 seats have been allocated to Scheduled Castes (SC), 208 for Scheduled Tribes (ST), and 283 for economically weaker sections (EWS). A total of 2,861 sub-inspectors (general duty) posts in many central armed police forces are also for graves. Of these, 2,651 are reserved for male applicants and only 210 for female applicants, meaning that about 93% of the opening is given to men and only 7% is given to women.
SSC CPO Exam Structure
Candidates will have to pass four stages of SSC CPO test to consider various positions with Delhi Police, CAPS, CISFS and other agencies. Objective multiple-chisics make questions paper 1. The PET/PST test is used to assess the patient’s endurance (physical and medical power), while the English understanding is a test paper-II test.

SSC CPO Vacancy 2026 Exam Pattern
- SSC CPO Paper 1 will include 200 multiple choice questions.
- You will receive a mark for each correct response, and 0.25 points will be cut for each incorrect response.
- It will take two hours to complete the SSC CPO 2026 paper 1.
- In Paper 1, SSC has applied sectional pacing this time, 30 minutes have been allocated for each section.
